Is My Email Address Safe?

Submitting your email address here is used solely for the following purposes:

  • Sending you campus events and announcements from our calendar.
  • Sending you administrative Opt-In and Opt-Out messages for email confirmation of your subscription and cancelation.

The campus events system provides an opportunity for you to join an email distribution of weekly events sent each Monday. Use the form below to subscribe (opt-in) or unsubscribe (opt-out) to these emails.


Follow these steps to opt-in or opt-out. If you are already subscribed, you will be unsubscribed. If you are not currently subscribed, you will be subscribed.

  1. Check your email for a message labeled: [UH Hilo Events] Opt-In Request or [UH Hilo Events] Opt-Out Request. Note that your SPAM-blocker settings may prevent you from seeing this message. If this happens, you must allow emails with subject starting [UH Hilo Events] .
  2. Finalize the process. Follow the instructions in that email to complete the (un)subscription process.
